The HM Techs Foot-Imager is a registered FDA Class II medical Device. The resultant information helps to monitor microcirculation/ inflammation of the person’s feet up to many months before you can visually see diabetes related foot ulcers, known as “diabetic foot”. It also identifies potential blood circulation issues. It directly serves individuals who may have the need to constantly monitor any changes in condition of their feet - e.g., men, women and children who have or are prone to be diabetes, people who are obese, and people who have or are prone to congestive heart failure. The use of the Foot Imager can help avoid tens of thousands of amputations for diabetic patients.

The HM Techs Foot-Imager will be available at the partner locations at very affordable prices. Once the user signs the release form, the device will gather the data of its feet to produce the images presented the registered and app to be use and/or sent to a medical professional for its interpretation, nevertheless the color-coded results will provide sufficient information to the user to plan next steps according to their health follow up actions.

Other products that use a mat with sensors to measure surface temperature, by itself, cannot prevent foot ulcers.
